B. Cookies
Vidoop may send one or more cookies - a small file containing a string of characters - to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality and security of our service by tracking user trends. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some Vidoop features and services may not function properly if your cookies are disabled.
C. Private Information
Your information is stored on our servers located in the United States. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use lots of tools (encryption, access codes, physical security, etc.) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure. Third parties do exist that attempt to intercept or access transmissions and private communications. We work to minimize these threats using additional and better tools than other identity providers; yet we cannot eliminate the existence of third parties who may be able to penetrate even the best systems.
D. Image Categories and Security
Your image categories are the keys to your account. Do not disclose your image categories to anyone. If you do share these with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account on Vidoop’s web sites and third-party web sites accessed using your Vidoop identity. If you lose control of your image categories, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your image categories have been compromised for any reason, change the compromised information and immediately notify Vidoop. Your cell phone or home telephone carrier may charge you for receiving a voice call or a text-message. You are responsible for any charges assessed by carriers for receiving an activation code from Vidoop.
E. Registered Device
Vidoop allows you to register your device when you receive your activation code. This registration will allow Vidoop to recognize your registered device when logging in to your account in the future. If your device becomes mysteriously unregistered, it is possible that you have been directed to a fraudulent web site. To confirm that you are at the right web site type https://myvidoop.com into your web browser’s URL bar, and verify that your browser indicates you are connected to myVidoop over a valid SSL connection before re-registering your device.
