ImageShield

The ImageShield can easily be layered with existing authentication solutions to strengthen the login and provide an additional layer of security.

  1. The user starts an online session and enters their user name and password.
  2. Following online login, the user is presented with the ImageShield, which is a randomly generated set of images, each of which represent categories.
  3. The user logs in by entering the alphanumeric characters that are overlaid on the image categories (chosen during enrollment), and this forms the user’s one-time access code.
  4. The user is successfully authenticated. Note: the images, their positions, and the alphanumeric characters change with each login, giving the user a secure login.

OTP (One-Time Password) Login

OTP Login can add a strong second factor of authentication to an existing login and is ideally suited as an intuitive and strong solution that can replace hardware tokens.

  1. The user starts an online session and enters their user name and password.
  2. Following online login or at the start of a transaction, the user receives a message or call at a pre-registered telephone number(s).
  3. The user answers the phone and is provided a OTP via SMS or voice-automated message.
  4. The user enters the OTP into the browser session and is authenticated.

One-Key Login

One-Key Login makes it easy for users to authenticate via their phone and there is no memory burden. When used with the PIN entry this is the best solution for high-value transactions where an added level of security is desirable. This is a great option for users who are not comfortable with SMS text messages or do not subscribe to an SMS service.

VidoopCAPTCHA

VidoopCAPTCHA is an image-based verification solution used to distinguish a human from a computer program. Compared to traditional text-based CAPTCHAs predominant on the web, VidoopCAPTCHA is easier on the user.

  1. Users at a website are presented with a set of images.
  2. The user is asked to identify then click a particular sequence of images. E.g. “dogs” then “boats” then “trains”. Alternatively, the user may identify then type a sequence of letters overlaid on the images.
  3. Completed correctly, the user is verified and is allowed to continue their online session.

Note: the images, their positions, and the letters on the images change every time, protecting websites against malicious bots and spamware.
